Known for its mild climate and breathtaking landscapes, the islands enjoy an average year-round temperature of 18°C (64°F). The Azores features a unique climate, influenced by the Gulf Stream and the Azores High. In the summer months, temperatures range from 18°C (64°F) to 24°C (75°F), with very little humidity. The days are sunny, and the nights are mild. Rainfall is minimal, with most of the precipitation occurring in the form of brief, light showers. In the winter, temperatures range from 10°C (50°F) to 16°C (60°F). The days are usually overcast and chilly, but the nights can be quite cold. Snow is very rare, but it can occur occasionally in the higher elevations.
